Preschools

DCCA offers Piano Playtime, our Whole Music Approach preschool piano program. We offer these classes to area preschools as well as at our Broomfield studio location. The class meets once a week and is $35 per month. We have a 10 student requirement at most all locations.
Extensive research has shown that at the preschool age, a child has developed an amazing understanding of their mother language, through auditory and visual forms, and repetition, even though they are not reading or writing their language yet. This is the key time to introduce to them the piano basics, it's tones, rythyms, visual geograpy, and repetition through song and movement. Your child will form extensive neural connections between right and left hemispheres of the brain, bridging communication between the two hemispheres that research has shown to heighten mathematical and scientific skills development. There are 86 different brain functions that are happening while playing the piano! This increases intelligence, builds brain cells, and develops self-esteem and self-worth through artistic expression.
